Job summary

PIH Health is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Services Manager to lead operations under radiology leadership for the Los Angeles area. Under the direction of the Radiologist and VP of Ancillary Services, you will ensure safe, efficient imaging delivery across acute care sites.

Responsibilities include coordinating workflow, maintaining QA, ensuring compliance and downtime procedures, and promoting staff development and patient-centered care.

Under the direction of the Radiologist, and VP of Ancillary Services, Responsible for managing the delivery of Diagnostic Imaging Services, coordinating department operations in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Department reporting to the Director of Imaging Services. Manager will also work closely with the PACS Administrator, Samaritan Imaging Center and other supervisorial and professional staff to insure appropriate workflow, adherence to Department information systems utilization and patient safety and security. Further, responsible for maintaining quality assurance, appropriate utilization of technology and that staff are appropriately trained, observed and monitored and evaluated in a timely and proficient manner. Provide input for operational planning. Oversees patient care in Imaging, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance for all patient populations served by the organization. Participates in quality control (QC), quality assurance (QA), performance improvement, and regulatory readiness activities.

Maintains knowledge of downtime procedures and collaborates with staff and other departments to ensure continuity of operations and patient care during system or equipment outages. Promotes staff development through education, coaching, and the consistent application of departmental policies, procedures, and best practices. Supports a culture of teamwork, accountability, patient-centered care, and operational excellence.

Required Skills

Required:

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• BLS - Basic Life Support - from the American Heart Association
• LA City Fire Card - (PHGSH only) - within 6 months

Preferred

• CRT - Certified Radiologic Technologist with Fluoroscopy
• Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience

• 3-5 years of Imaging experience in an Acute Care setting
• 3 years of progressive leadership experience in an acute care setting with responsibility for workforce, operations, quality and performance outcomes
