Merck & Co., Inc. in Rahway, NJ seeks a Senior Specialist for GCS Process Steward focused on Packaging Execution. You will define and document packaging operations processes, ensure SAP-enabled workflows, and coordinate with SMEs and stakeholders to meet evolving business needs.

The role emphasizes SAP Production Execution, BOM/Recipe/ECM master data, and GMP-compliant processes. Strong cross-functional collaboration and change management are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management or a related manufacturing/packaging function.
• 3+ years of experience working with SAP Production Execution, Master data (BOMs, Recipe, ECM).
• Strong knowledge of GMP, quality management and warehouse management processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of GCS processes aligned with objectives.
• Act as the SAP and Global processes knowledge expert for packaging and operation planning.
• Drive business challenges to resolution with system solutions across GCS.
• Support business case development and maintain the Demand Tracker for enhancements.
• Drive process standardization, implementation, and training on new processes.
• Ensure integrity of a single global business process by SOP review and impact assessment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process-driven improvements.
• Develop trust-based relationships to execute priorities with stakeholders.
