Job summary

Validation & Engineering Group, Inc. (V&E G) is seeking a Principal Engineer, Packaging Equipment to lead design, development, qualification, and validation activities for packaging equipment and processes in a regulated environment.

You will guide cross-functional teams across Manufacturing, Operations, R&D, and Supply Chain, oversee engineers/contractors, and drive OEE improvements and risk-based decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical field required.
• 8+ years of GMP experience within the pharmaceutical/consumer industries.
• Experience leading packaging equipment projects and validation activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute packaging equipment and validation assignments with lifecycle management.
• Lead improvements in packaging processes and equipment technologies across locations.
• Develop and execute packaging equipment strategies and documentation (URS, SDS, FAT/SAT).
• Coordinate line trials, PQ, and risk assessments; manage contractors and vendors as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Quality, Regulatory, and EHS standards.
