Aalo Atomics in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Packaging Engineer to own the strategy, design, validation, and continuous improvement of packaging solutions for critical hardware. You will ensure protection across shipment, handling, and international transport, collaborating with Design, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Quality to meet safety and regulatory requirements.

• 5+ years engineered packaging design in regulated industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience packaging for high-value, safety-critical hardware.
• Strong knowledge of shock, vibration, and environmental testing.
• Proficiency in CAD, drawings, GD&T, and tolerance-stack analysis.
• Knowledge of packaging materials including steel, aluminum, composites, foam.
• familiarity with ISTA/ASTM/Mil-Spec standards.

Responsabilidades

• Lead packaging projects from requirements through design, validation, release and implementation.
• Design protective packaging, reusable containers, and shipping fixtures.
• Apply CAD, drawings, datum schemes, GD&T, and tolerance stack‑up analysis.
• Define packaging requirements based on hardware, transport, and regulatory needs.
• Plan and execute packaging validation including shock, vibration, drop, and environmental tests.
• Collaborate with Design, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality, and Operations.
• Work with suppliers to prototype, qualify, and scale packaging designs.
• Create specs, drawings, test plans, instructions, and BOMs; track KPIs.
