Job summary

Sonos is hiring a packaging designer to own the structural design of premium consumer packaging. You will develop concepts through sketching, CAD, and physical models, delivering combatible dielines and 3D models for mass production.

You will collaborate with packaging engineering, sourcing, and suppliers, ensuring design intent, sustainability, and brand alignment across product categories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Packaging or related field.
• 5+ years in industrial design, packaging or product development for premium consumer products.
• Strong portfolio with 3D design thinking and physical execution.
• Fluency in 3D CAD and dielines in structural CAD software.
• Hands-on model making and prototyping skills.

Responsibilities

• Own structural and three-dimensional packaging design from concept through production release.
• Develop concepts via sketching, CAD, and physical models for unboxing experiences.
• Produce dielines, 3D models, and documentation for builders.
• Collaborate with packaging engineering, sourcing, and suppliers as design liaison.
• Present design rationale to cross-functional teams and leadership.
