Job summary

Primary Color Systems Corp. is seeking an experienced Structural Packaging Designer to join our Design & Fabrication team.

You will take concepts through dieline development, prototyping, and production to deliver efficient packaging solutions. The ideal candidate has 5+ years for packaging or structural design, strong knowledge of folding carton, corrugated, and displays, and hands-on experience with ArtiosCAD and Adobe Illustrator.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of packaging or structural design experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of folding carton, corrugated, rigid packaging and displays.
• Experience with dielines, die cutting, scoring, folding, gluing, and production.
• Experience developing physical prototypes and mockups.

Primary Color Systems Corp. is looking for an experienced Structural Packaging Designer to join our growing Design & Fabrication team. We are seeking someone with strong structural packaging experience who can take a project from concept through dieline development, prototyping, and production.

Responsibilities

• Design custom packaging, boxes, inserts, presentation kits, displays, and other structural solutions.
• Create accurate production-ready dielines and structural drawings.
• Develop prototypes and mockups for customer review and production testing.
• Recommend appropriate materials, construction methods, closures, and assembly methods.
• Design with manufacturing, assembly, packout, shipping, cost, and efficiency in mind.
• Work directly with production teams to troubleshoot and improve designs.
• Support Sales, Account Management, and Estimating on new packaging opportunities.
• Review and modify customer-supplied packaging concepts when necessary.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of packaging or structural design experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of folding carton, corrugated, rigid packaging, displays, and/or custom packaging.
• Experience with ArtiosCAD or similar structural design software.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator.
• Strong understanding of dielines, die cutting, scoring, folding, gluing, assembly, and production.
• Experience developing physical prototypes and mockups.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in a printing, packaging, display, or fabrication environment is highly preferred.
