You will sketch, model, and develop dielines, prototypes, and documentation, driving packaging from concept through mass production while collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, sourcing, and product design. The role emphasizes sustainability, material reduction, and compatibility with global suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Packaging, or related design discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience in industrial design or packaging for premium consumer products.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating 3D design thinking and physical execution.
• Fluency in 3D CAD (NX, Rhino, SolidWorks) and Illustrator for dielines.
• Experience designing dielines in structural CAD software.
• Hands-on model making and prototyping skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication.
• Availability to work from the office 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Own structural and three-dimensional design for packaging programs from box to retention components.
• Develop concepts via sketching, CAD, and physical models to create unboxing experience.
• Produce dielines, 3D models, and documentation for production.
• Carry programs from concept through production release with accountability.
• Build models and prototypes by hand and machine; validate fit with product.
• Act as design liaison with packaging engineering, sourcing, suppliers, and converters.
• Present design work and rationale to cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with product design to align packaging with product.
• Contribute to packaging design system and sustainable packaging efforts.
