Job summary

Ultimate Solutions seeks an Automation Engineer to provide technical design support for Automation Systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and robotics. You will contribute to design, documentation, implementation, training, validation, and packaging project field executions for Life Science industries.

Responsibilities include configuring and maintaining automation equipment, supporting troubleshooting, and ensuring configuration control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/ mechanical/ electronic engineering.
• Minimum of five years of relevant automation experience and project implementation.
• Experience with Rockwell PLC and HMI software and hardware.
• Ability to read P&ID drawings, network diagrams, panel layouts and electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of cGMP, FDA, GAMP, UL508A is preferred.
• Experience with IQ, OQ, PQ process validation.
• Knowledge of control circuits, hardware, software and system integration.
• Fully bilingual English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Support configuration and maintenance tasks for automation equipment including PLCs, HMIs and robotics.
• Assist in design, documentation, implementation, validation and training of automation projects.
• Develop automated systems for packaging processes.
• Participate in requirements gathering and design reviews for automation solutions.
• Conduct validation testing to verify performance and compliance of automation systems.
• Ensure documentation control and compliance with site requirements.
