Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to develop and test automated systems for manufacturing facilities. You will plan, program, troubleshoot, and evaluate designs for efficiency, quality, and reliability.

The role requires a Mechanical/Industrial Engineering background, strong knowledge of hydraulics and robotics, and experience with AllenBradley PLCs and sensors. You will collaborate with maintenance to ensure preventive and predictive maintenance and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or a minimum of 7 years equivalent experience.
Experience with hydraulics, robotics, electrical systems, automation.
Experience with stamping, welding, and palletizing a plus.
Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC, industrial sensors, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

Develops plans for testing and debugging automation equipment and applies engineering knowledge as needed.
Programs, troubleshoots, and evaluates design considerations on new and existing systems.
Designs engineering solutions meeting manufacturing facilities requirements while monitoring budget constraints.
Maintains awareness of project cost, quality, scope, and schedule to ensure on-time delivery.
