Employee Workplace is seeking a Senior Packaging Acquisition Engineer for a 6-month hybrid contract to lead packaging strategy and integration for acquisitions. You will guide risk assessment, verification activities, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, quality, operations, and supply chain teams.

The role requires a packaging/engineering degree and 3+ years' experience with design verification, testing, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field related to packaging.
• 3+ years in packaging engineering, development, or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with design verification, validation, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead packaging integration activities for acquisitions and strategic initiatives.
• Develop packaging strategies, timelines, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
• Review test data, perform gap analyses, and support packaging design decisions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including specs, protocols and reports.
• Manage packaging component development, sourcing, and implementation.
• Coordinate verification/validation while ensuring quality system compliance.
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to hit milestones.
• Analyze packaging performance data and suggest improvements.
• Mentor technicians, interns, and project team members as needed.
