Job summary

Benefit Cosmetics is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to lead the development of DNA-driven, three-dimensional packaging and product design. You will create a visual language for product franchises and press materials, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, on-brand execution.

The role reports to the Art Director, Packaging Design & Brand Systems, and requires significant autonomy, creative innovation, and leadership in designing global product packaging and related

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of related design experience with packaging focus.
• Strong eye for detail and color consistency.
• Advanced knowledge of industry standard design programs.
• Proficient in using project management tools.
• Experience collaborating with marketing and cross-functional teams.
• Experience in eco-friendly and sustainable packaging solutions.
• Experience with in-house packaging engineers and component development.
• Knowledge of packaging materials and printing/finishing options.

Responsibilities

• Work independently and with creative leaders to design packaging for all product lines.
• Brainstorm concepts and conduct design research for project theming.
• Develop and present product franchises and packaging concepts.
• Create digital mockups and renderings to illustrate ideas.
• Update design guidelines and brand DNA across packaging and merch.
• Apply branding through packaging design, sends, and merchandise.
• Produce mood boards, color palettes, layouts, and illustrations.
• Manage timelines with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines.
