Job summary

NorthHill Technology Resources seeks a PaaS Engineer to support NGA in Springfield, VA. This direct-hire role requires an active Top-Secret Clearance and hands-on OpenShift administration in a secure DoD-aligned environment.

You will oversee OpenShift deployment, upgrades, and security, with strong emphasis on Linux, networking, and storage expertise. Collaboration with junior staff and adherence to DoD cybersecurity standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, securing, monitoring, and upgrading OpenShift clusters.
• Strong Red Hat Linux administration and networking knowledge.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 10+ years in related roles.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain OpenShift clusters and storage.
• Architect OpenShift to meet app requirements across compute/storage/networking.
• Perform upgrades and apply security patches per DoD standards.
• Lead less senior staff on engagements and project tasks.
