Job summary

American Integrity Insurance is seeking a senior underwriting professional to lead complex property underwriting decisions for our Florida region. You will review inspection reports, supply definitive guidance to agents, and serve as a subject matter expert across lines of business.

You will train agents, collaborate with claims and management, and drive underwriting dashboards and initiatives to improve pricing and product actions in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Extensive property & casualty underwriting background.
• Strong knowledge of underwriting policies, guidelines and state statutes.
• Experience visiting and training agents on products and systems.
• Ability to use risk-based underwriting judgment for new business and renewals.

Responsibilities

• Review complex property inspection reports and communicate decisions with agents.
• Provide definitive responses to agents on underwriting guidelines and questions.
• Act as a subject matter expert in all lines of business and assist with training.
• Provide superior underwriting and client service to agents and company affiliates.
• Analyze technical situations involving rate changes and policy language interpretation.
• Assist with system testing and implementation efforts.
• Collaborate with claims on risk alerts and investigations.
• Review premier home and sinkhole inspections.
• Collaborate with agency management on new business issuance and underwriting matters.
• Assist special projects team with underwriting dashboards and related initiatives.
• Identify trends within assigned territory and recommend underwriting, pricing and product actions to leadership.
