Everest Global Services, Inc. in Warren, NJ is seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst to conduct actuarial reserving analyses for P&C lines, support financial reporting, and partner with Finance, Claims, Underwriting, and ERM.

You will evaluate loss and LAE reserves and communicate results to management. The role requires strong reserving expertise, excellent analytical judgment, and the ability to explain complex results clearly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of actuarial experience, with a dedicated focus on P&C reserving.
• Active pursuit of Casualty Actuarial Society credentials (e.g., 4+ exams, nearing ACAS).
• Strong knowledge of U.S. P&C reserving techniques and standard actuarial methodologies; advanced Excel; familiarity with ResQ/Arius/SAS/R.
• Programming, data querying, or automation experience (SQL, R, Python, VBA).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Perform quarterly and annual loss and LAE reserve analyses for assigned P&C lines.
• Develop and prepare recommendations for carried reserves with detailed rationale.
• Analyze loss development patterns, tail factors, and large loss activity.
• Explain reserve movements, variability, and key drivers to management.
• Support statutory, GAAP, and management reporting; prepare reserve memos.
