Job summary

Clearbrook is seeking a Senior P&C Data Scientist in Omaha to own pricing analytics and model development for a wide range of insurance products. You will work with actuaries, underwriting, distribution, and product teams to translate complex analyses into actionable business insights.

You will guide the end-to-end lifecycle of pricing models, apply ML techniques, ensure governance, and mentor junior staff. This onsite role emphasizes collaboration and high autonomy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, computer science, data science, or related field.
• Five years of relevant experience in data science, analytics, pricing, actuarial, or related roles.
• Advanced proficiency in analytical programming languages and tools (SQL, Python, R).
• Experience with large, complex datasets and applying statistical or machine learning methods.
• Strong analytical judgment, problem-solving ability, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and own complex analytical models.

Responsibilities

• Develop, refine, and maintain analytical models supporting P&C pricing and portfolio management.
• Independently own pricing models translating results into actionable recommendations.
• Apply insurance domain knowledge in model design, development, interpretation, and business use.
• End-to-end analytical lifecycle: data exploration, feature engineering, model building, validation, deployment.
• Collaborate with actuaries, underwriting, distribution, product, and IT teams.
