Job summary

Clearbrook Group Services Inc. seeks a Senior P&C Data Scientist to own development of pricing and portfolio models, applying statistics and ML to insurance data. You will collaborate with pricing actuaries, underwriting, claims, distribution and IT to translate questions into analytical solutions and monitor model performance.

You will also mentor junior colleagues, contribute to analytics standards, and present insights to senior leadership across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field.
• 5+ years in data science, analytics, pricing, actuarial, or related roles.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and R.
• Experience with large datasets and real-world modeling.

Responsibilities

• Develop, refine, and maintain analytical models for P&C pricing and portfolio management.
• Own end-to-end analytic lifecycle: data exploration, feature engineering, model building, validation, implementation, monitoring.
• Translate analyses into actionable pricing recommendations for cross-functional teams.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to modeling standards and governance.
• Present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
