Job summary

Clearbrook is seeking a Sr Data Analyst to partner with stakeholders across P&C Operations (Underwriting, Product, Actuarial, Claims, and Marketing) to deliver advanced analytical insights that inform business strategy and operational decision-making.

The role includes data analysis, conceptualization, mining/modeling, and presenting data, with a focus on scalable data solutions and governance. This is an on-site role requiring working hours at the designated office.

Qualifications

• Four to six years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, computer science, data science, data analytics, or a related field.
• Proficient in Python/PySpark, SQL (CTE, window functions) and Power BI using graphs, charts, and map features.
• Experience in data quality control/governance, data mining, and modeling.
• Working knowledge of emerging analytics technology (e.g., Agentic AI/ML concepts).
• Strong soft skills with clear, effective oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to define business problems and translate data needs into analytical solutions.
• Develop and maintain methods to distribute management information using current tools and standards.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards (Power BI) and data products.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, Python/PySpark scripts, and data pipelines for analysis and reporting.
• Lead analytics initiatives with ownership of timelines and deliverables.
• Synthesize findings into clear insights and communicate to technical and non-technical audiences.
