Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of property and casualty claims experience.
• Professional designation such as AIC or CPCU preferred.
• High authority level on complex assignments with strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages a book of claims, including construction defect and property claims, with size and complexity.
• Conducts thorough investigations, assesses coverage and liability, and guides resolution strategies.
• Works toward claim resolution and attends arbitrations, mediations, settlements or trials as needed.
• Negotiates settlements within authority and escalates cases as appropriate.
• Conveys complex information to stakeholders with professionalism and clarity.
• Ensures compliance with statutes, regulations and company procedures.
• Serves as technical expert on product(s).
• Evaluates issues and makes strategic recommendations to executive management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
