Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group seeks a Capital Modeling Lead, P&C Insurance, to develop CSAA's internal economic capital modeling capabilities. The role works closely with risk, actuarial, Reinsurance, Investments, Product Management, and FP&A teams to expand capital analytics across the business.

You will design, challenge, and build stochastic models, leveraging ReMetrica and advanced methods to support strategic planning and performance measurement. This remote role is open nationwide with exceptions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field or experience.
• 10+ years of P&C insurance economic capital modeling or related quantitative work.
• Strong understanding of VaR, TVaR, dependency modeling, diversification, and capital attribution.
• Experience with ReMetrica is a plus and helpful for modeling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and reproduce the internal economic capital model and methodologies.
• Build stochastic capital models integrating underwriting, reserve, catastrophe, investment and credit risks.
• Collaborate with risk, actuarial, FP&A and investment teams to inform decisions.
• Provide independent challenge and governance for model assumptions and outputs.
• Translate capital results into actionable business insights for leadership.
