Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a Capital Modeling Lead for P&C Insurance, with remote work options across the United States. The role focuses on developing CSAA's internal economic capital models, leveraging ReMetrica, Python, and R to support risk management, capital allocation, and strategic planning.

The successful candidate will collaborate with Enterprise Risk Management, Actuarial, Reinsurance, Investments, and FP&A to drive advanced capital analytics and robust governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 10+ years in P&C economic capital modeling or related quantitative roles.
• Ability to design and build stochastic models from ground up.
• Strong grasp of VaR, TVaR, dependency modeling and risk attribution.
• Experience with catastrophe and investment risk in insurance.
• Proven programming skills in Python or R and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance CSAA's internal economic capital models.
• Collaborate with risk, actuarial, investments, and FP&A teams.
• Lead model governance, validation, and change control.
• Translate capital results into actionable business insights.
• Provide independent technical challenge to assumptions.
