Job summary

Aon plc in Chicago seeks an Associate Director to lead P&C actuarial pricing work within its Strategy & Technology Group. The role blends hands-on analysis with client advisory, developing pricing strategies, refining rating structures, and ensuring solutions are practical and aligned with business objectives.

The position involves applying GLMs, managing client engagements, mentoring junior staff, and supporting proposals and RFPs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of actuarial pricing experience within property & casualty insurance.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• FCAS credential preferred.
• Experience conducting rate filing research using SERFF, including review of filing support and regulatory correspondence.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop, refine, and support actuarial pricing analyses across P&C use cases.
• Apply GLMs to model pure premium using large datasets.
• Translate business problems into analytical solutions and communicate results clearly.
• Manage client engagements from problem definition through delivery.
• Partner with senior team members to deliver client solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and training to junior team members.
• Support proposal development and client presentations.
