Job summary

Consertus’ Buildings group seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead Owner Representation for capital projects in the Chicagoland area. You will supervise planning, design, and construction phases, acting as the liaison among owners, designers, and contractors regarding cost, schedule, and quality, while maintaining client relationships and supporting business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management or related field preferred.
• 12+ years of experience required; public-sector/municipal experience strongly preferred.
• PMP, PE, RA/AIA, or CCM certification preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with project management, document-control, and scheduling platforms such as Microsoft Project; P6 or equivalent scheduling experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day owner’s representative and primary project contact for assigned projects.
• Lead planning, design management, procurement, construction, occupancy, and project closeout.
• Coordinate stakeholders, drive decisions, and provide concise reporting to clients and senior leadership.
• Develop and manage project budgets, cash flow, contingencies, forecasts, and cost reporting.
• Monitor schedules and ensure on-time completion; develop recovery strategies when needed.
• Oversee procurement, consultant and contractor selections, and contract administration.
