Job summary

Consertus' Buildings group seeks a Project Manager to supervise planning, design, and construction phases, serving as the owner\'s representative across capital projects in the Chicagoland area. You will coordinate with owners, designers, and contractors on cost, schedule, and quality while managing multiple assignments in public-sector and institutional settings.

The role requires 7–10+ years of experience in capital programs, strong communication with stakeholders, and proficiency in MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management or related field preferred.
• 7–10+ years of experience in project or capital program management.
• Experience with K-12, municipal, healthcare, or institutional clients preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling tools (MS Project; Primavera P6).
• Ability to communicate complex project issues clearly to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day owner's representative and primary project contact.
• Develop and manage project budgets, cash flow, and cost forecasts.
• Create and maintain milestone schedules and coordinate with design and construction teams.
• Review materials and designs for conformance and perform site observations.
• Support procurement, bidding, and permit processes.
• Build trusted client relationships and support business development.
