Job summary

Target is seeking a SeniorTargetSecuritySpecialist(STSS) to lead physical security and safety across our supply chain facilities. You will execute routines to identify and prevent theft, using technology, store and supply chain partnerships, and security tactics.

You will operate Target-owned vehicles for yard and perimeter patrols and contribute to enterprise-wide protection initiatives. The role involves emergency procedures, onboarding new team members, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to respond quickly and remain calm during crisis situations.
• Proven ability to work with highly confidential information.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Capable of working in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a physical security and safety culture for Target supply chain facility.
• Identify, prevent and investigate theft and shortage by leveraging technology and partnerships.
• Operate Target-owned vehicles for yard and perimeter patrols.
• Lead and/or support enterprise-wide assets protection initiatives.
• Execute emergency procedures and protocols during emergencies.
• Onboard new Asset Protection team members.
• Review and update routine documentation as needed.
