Job summary

Qualus Corporation is seeking a Lead Overhead Transmission Line Engineer to design transmission structures and high voltage power lines. You will mentor junior team members, review drawings, and perform analyses to ensure safe, compliant designs.

As part of a multi-disciplinary project team, you will coordinate with engineers, project managers, and clients to meet milestones, provide technical support during construction, and ensure adherence to NESC, IEEE, and other standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of transmission line design experience for high voltage applications.
• PE license required.
• Strong knowledge of structural design and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design transmission structures and power lines for high voltage applications.
• Prepare and review technical specifications and drawings.
• Conduct engineering analysis and simulations for transmission line design.
• Mentor and train lower-level engineers and team members.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
