Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Overhead Distribution/Transmission Line Project Engineer to join our Power Delivery team in the West Region. This hybrid role supports multiple US offices with potential travel to field sites and client offices, contributing to 46 kV–138 kV projects and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• 7–10 years of post-education experience in electrical engineering for transmission/distribution projects.
• Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
• Knowledge of NESC, RUS, and GO-95.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering of distribution/transmission projects up to 138 kV.
• Create and maintain project schedules and lead meetings.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with clients and internal teams.
• Ensure QA/QC and adherence to safety standards.
