Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Achieve professional certifications relative to area of expertise, must have and preserve required licenses.
• Must possess analytical skills.
• Proficient use of applicable technology.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing at all levels; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end and year-end closing, audit schedules, and notes to financial statements.
• Keep engagement partner informed on progress, issues, and team needs.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and analyses of position and variances.
• Review reconciliations for balance sheet accounts and GL entries (payroll, fringe, allocations).
• Lead engagement team and be main contact with external auditors.
• Prepare clients' 990s and year-end 1099s; assist in tax-related tasks.
• Assist growth and training of staff.
