Job summary

Conviva Senior Primary Care within Humana's family seeks a Cardiologist to diagnose and manage heart diseases, focusing on outpatient care. You will work within a clinical care team dedicated to prevention, wellness, and complex cardiac conditions, reporting to the director of national cardiology.

Qualifications

• Requires a Medical degree and 5+ years of residency and fellowship experience.
• Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction.
• Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university.
• Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with a certificate of special qualification in cardiovascular disease.
• Certified by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine with a certificate of special qualification in echocardiography.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, manage and follow-up patients with heart diseases.
• Provide direct patient care and perform charting/administrative tasks.
• Work within outpatient clinical care teams focusing on prevention and disease management for elderly patients.
• Manage complex cardiac conditions such as heart attacks, arrhythmias, and heart failure.
• Participate in Humana/Senior Bridge TB screening program.
