Job summary

Conviva Specialty Care, a Humana subsidiary, seeks an Outpatient General Cardiologist to join our Orlando clinic. You will report to the Director of Cardiology and work onsite Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, focusing on comprehensive cardiovascular care.

Responsibilities include diagnosing, treating, and coordinating care for CAD, heart failure, arrhythmias, and hypertension. You will interpret ECGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests and maintain thorough records within a collaborative team

Qualifications

• MD or DO with cardiology specialty training and board eligibility/ certification.
• Completion of Internal Medicine residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship.
• Board certification/eligibility in cardiovascular disease.
• Active or readily obtainable medical license in Florida.
• Outpatient cardiology experience (≥2 years) and DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with cardiovascular diseases and conditions.
• Manage chronic cardiovascular conditions (CAD, HF, arrhythmias, HTN).
• Interpret ECGs, echocardiograms, ambulatory monitoring, and stress tests.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based guidelines.
• Collaborate with PCPs, specialists, and care teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.

You will work onsite at the Conviva clinic in Orlando, FL and report to the Director of Cardiology.

Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Responsibilities

• You will collaborate with primary care providers, specialists, advanced practice providers, and care teams to coordinate patient care.
• You will maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine
• Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
• Valid, unrestricted license in the state of practice (or willing to obtain)
• At least 2 years of outpatient cardiology experience
• Current unrestricted DEA license, or must obtain
• Diagnosing and managing cardiovascular diseases and conditions
• Work in a collaborative, team-based care environment
• Working with Medicare and senior populations
• Training or certification in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, or cardiovascular imaging

If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$360,500 - $495,700 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
