Qualifications

• AHIMA or AAPC certification required.
• Three years of coding, clinical, or billing experience.
• Knowledge of CMS, AMA, and AHA coding and billing guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform final reconciliation on clinic/provider visits and resolve documentation issues.
• Review, abstract, and code complex or specialty services and assign classifications.
• Serve as a resource to coding staff, business office, providers and hospital staff on billing issues.
