Intone Inc in Liberty, NC is seeking a hands-on Sr. OT Network Engineer for a 6+ month contract to bridge IT and plant engineering.

You will design and deploy secure, resilient industrial networks using Cisco SDA, IDMZ, and granular microsegmentation to ensure zero unplanned downtime across manufacturing environments. You will lead deployment and lifecycle management of OT network infrastructure, mentor IT staff, coordinate major cutovers, and troubleshoot high-availability networks across

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
10+ years of progressive network engineering experience.
Proven track record securing industrial networks using zero-trust, IDMZ, and segmentation.
Hands-on experience with enterprise LAN/WAN and industrial OT networks.
Experience with Cisco SDA fabric architectures, DNA Center / Catalyst Center, and Cisco ISE.

Responsibilities

Lead deployment and lifecycle management of OT network infrastructure.
Architect secure industrial networks with IDMZ, macro-segmentation, and microsegmentation.
Drive adoption of Cisco SDA within OT to automate fabric deployment and enforce identity-based access control.
Provide tier-3 troubleshooting for complex network incidents and coordinate major cutovers.
Translate production requirements for IT and plant teams, mentoring local IT on OT network and security fundamentals.
