Job summary

Sptrm in California seeks a Senior Engineer (BTO) to provide technical subject matter expertise to the Bomber Test Organization at AFOTEC Detachment 5. You will apply OT&E processes to deliver timely, high-quality written products and recommendations for test planning, execution, and evaluation.

The role involves collaborating with program offices and DOT&E, developing evaluation methodologies, supporting readiness reviews, and ensuring cybersecurity and program protection requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or another technical field.
• Minimum six (6) years of practical knowledge of military aircraft systems and related fields.
• Minimum three (3) years of developmental or operational test and evaluation experience.
• Current Top Secret/SSBI clearance with eligibility for SCI and SAP access.
• U.S. citizenship required; foreign nationals not authorized.
• Ability to meet safety and security training requirements and maintain clearance eligibility.
• Demonstrated technical writing ability to produce test plans, reports, memoranda, and briefings for a Government audience.

Responsibilities

• Test planning and engineering analysis for effectiveness and suitability evaluations.
• Document development and review of OT&E related materials.
• Meetings, reviews, and stakeholder engagement with program offices and DOT&E.
• Test execution support and readiness activities during active test periods.
• Cybersecurity and program protection in accordance with policy requirements.
• Other duties as assigned within the scope of the task order.
