Job summary

Spectrum Comm Inc. seeks a Senior Engineer (BTO) to provide operational and technical SME support to the Bomber Test Organization at AFOTEC Detachment 5. You will apply core AFOTEC processes to deliver high-quality written products and recommendations, and interface with DoD customers and program offices.

This is advisory, non-decisional government support. You will develop test objectives, plans, and analyses, collaborate across teams, and contribute to and review OT&E materials, including Test

Qualifications

6+ years of practical knowledge of military aircraft systems.
3+ years of developmental or operational test & evaluation experience, including test design, sortie optimization, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

Test planning and engineering analysis; research and determine effective test methods.
Develop test concepts, methods, and analysis approaches for evaluations.
Identify resources and schedules to support recommended test methods.
Identify test support tools for effectiveness testing.
Recommend facilities and ranges for realistic environments.
Lead or participate in program and test readiness reviews and technical meetings.
Prepare and review OT&E documents and reports.
Support writing of test reports, memoranda, and final reports.
