Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Senior OT Cyber Engineering Professional to support clients operating critical infrastructure. You will lead assessments, architecture reviews, risk analyses, and secure-by-design activities across industrial environments, collaborating with asset owners, operators, and IT teams.

The role requires deep OT domain knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to translate complex findings into practical actions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Operational Technology environments.
• Demonstrates integrity, curiosity, and empathy.
• Deep knowledge of OT systems, networks, architectures, and cybersecurity concepts.
• Understanding of ICS components (PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, etc.).
• Ability to assess cybersecurity issues in operational, safety, and regulatory contexts.
• Ability to analyze incomplete information and reach defensible conclusions.
• Strong technical writing, reporting, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to lead activities in complex engagements.
• Excellent client-facing communication and relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Lead OT cybersecurity assessments, architecture reviews, and risk analyses.
• Evaluate OT systems, networks, architectures, and control-system environments.
• Develop understanding of client operations, dependencies, and constraints.
• Identify cybersecurity weaknesses affecting safety, reliability, and operations.
• Frame issues by operational impact and remediation feasibility.
• Provide practical recommendations for system hardening and monitoring.
• Mentor junior staff and review technical deliverables.
• Contribute to OT cybersecurity methods, tools, and templates.
• Support proposals, scoping, and client presentations.
