Job summary

Equinix is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer, OT Fleet Management, to advance security, reliability, and lifecycle health of OT systems across the data center fleet. You’ll translate vulnerabilities into remediation plans, coordinate upgrades, and coach regional Controls Engineers.

The role requires deep OT controls expertise, Windows/SQL Server literacy, and strong communication to stakeholders. Travel regionally as needed to support multi-site remediation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in controls, electrical, computer engineering, automation, or related field.
• 7+ years in industrial controls, automation, BMS/SCADA, or OT engineering.
• Experience with two major industrial controls platforms (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens, ABB).
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, BMS/SCADA, HMIs, historians, and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Own regional TVM program execution from assessment to closure with evidence.
• Assess vulnerabilities, obsolete components, and platform lifecycle risks in OT envs.
• Develop remediation strategies balancing cybersecurity and operations.
• Lead remediation roadmaps, risk registers, and technical decisions.
• Provide advanced technical support for industrial controls and OT networks.
