Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Control System Architect to design, develop, and maintain software for controlling mechanical and electrical systems in water facilities. The role requires experience with PLC, SCADA, DCS, and strong knowledge of cyber security and OT networks.

You’ll lead software configuration for high-availability servers, mentor professionals, and support business development in North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field; MS preferred.
• Licensed Professional Engineer preferred.
• Proven experience in control system programming and software design.

Responsibilities

• Design and write software for control systems using languages like C/C++, Python, Java, or C#.
• Test and debug control system software for reliability.
• Lead and mentor team members on design approaches and challenges.
• Maintain security and integrity of control system software.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for control systems.
