Job summary

Ziply Fiber is seeking a Senior Manager, Outside Plant (OSP) Construction in Maple Grove, MN. This leadership role drives the launch of new markets, scaling OSP fiber programs with contractor crews and internal teams to meet homes‑passed targets safely, on schedule, and within budget.

The job requires deep FTTH construction expertise, strong production discipline, and the ability to elevate quality and performance at the crew level across multiple geographies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 10 years OSP experience including splicing and construction.
• Minimum 5 years leadership/people management experience.
• Experience managing budgets.

Responsibilities

• Assist with stand‑up of new market operations, onboarding contractors.
• Staffing, budgets, schedules, and safety/quality oversight of OSP projects.
• Coordinate schedules with contractors, property managers, customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Partner with municipalities and pole owners in new markets.
• Oversee bidding, negotiation, and approval of construction contracts.
• Ensure continuous construction flow with engineering teams.
• Translate expansion strategy into field execution; monitor daily/weekly metrics.
• Standardize practices across markets and build types; size contractor workforce.
• Lead end‑to‑end construction delivery from design validation to activation.
• Mitigate risks and ensure effective communication across teams.
