Job summary

Hanger, Inc. seeks a fabrication-focused associate to create and repair orthotic and prosthetic devices in a workshop setting, away from the exam room. You will work closely with clinicians to adjust devices and ensure proper fit using hand tools and fabrication equipment.

The role emphasizes precise hand-skill work, familiarity with small hand tools, and safe operation of band saws, drills, and routers. A high school diploma or GED and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record within company policy.
• Technical training school or 2 years experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools to fabricate and repair orthotic and prosthetic devices.
• Work closely with clinicians and patients to adjust and repair devices by fabrication.
• Operate fabrication equipment safely and efficiently; maintain clean workshop.
• Maintain inventory and order necessary fabrication materials.
