Job summary

U.S. Fleet Forces Command seeks an experienced engineering leader to serve as SME for Facilities, Equipment and Infrastructure operations. You will integrate data from subordinate activities to develop priority plans supporting infrastructure readiness and changing needs of the command.

The role requires deep expertise in MILCON and FSRM, the ability to review facility requirements for ordnance missions, and to oversee policy issues related to CESE. Travel to CONUS/OCONUS may be required.

Qualifications

• Specialized knowledge of professional engineering to plan, design, construct and sustain shore infrastructure and ordnance facilities.
• Deep understanding of MILCON and FSRM programs and related facility planning processes.
• Experience in managing and leading engineering projects.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for Facilities, Equipment and Infrastructure operations for the command.
• Integrate data from subordinate activities to develop priority infrastructure plans.
• Review facility requirements for ordnance missions and develop solutions.
• Provide expert advice on optimization of systems, standards, workflows, and cost controls.
