Job summary

US United States Fleet Forces Command is seeking a candidate with at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 level in the Federal service or equivalent. The role involves planning and coordinating development of facilities, strategic planning initiatives, advising leadership on long-term facilities projects, and developing directives and policies for programs and projects.

It also includes supervising continuous process improvement for facility and equipment programs.

Qualifications

• Experience planning, coordinating integration and development of all facilities, and strategic planning initiatives.
• Experience consulting with and advising the facilities and maintenance equipment supervisor, department heads and deputies, and the executive director concerning the planning, review, and evaluation of command operations, activities, special projects, and programs related to long term facilities projects.
• Experience developing and revising directives, instructions, procedures and policies for programs and projects under their review.
• Experience managing continuous process improvement of the commands facility and equipment program by providing supervision and oversight of process improvement related to acquisition, replacement and maintenance of equipment, including contractor and manufacturer surveillance and quality assurance for product performance for command capitalized property and equipment.
