Job summary

Kforce Inc. is seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll specialist to serve as a functional expert and owner of payroll configurations and issue resolution.

You will partner with Payroll, HR, Finance, and technical teams to enable accurate processing and ongoing optimization. The role involves production support across payroll cycles, troubleshooting complex issues, and implementing workflow improvements to increase efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience implementing, configuring, or supporting Oracle HCM Cloud
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Payroll required
• Experience supporting payroll configuration, processing, testing, troubleshooting, and production issues
• Knowledge of Oracle Payroll flows, integrations, interfaces, extracts, and Fast Formulas
• Experience with system integrations, data flows, and external vendor file exchanges
• Oracle Time and Labor and/or Absence Management experience preferred
• Experience supporting payroll year-end activities, reconciliation, and reporting validation
• Understanding of payroll compliance, tax reporting, and regulatory requirements
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and root-cause analysis skills
• Ability to work effectively across HR, Payroll, Finance, and technical teams
• Strong documentation, communication, and process-improvement skills

Responsibilities

• Serve as a functional expert for Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll, supporting configuration, troubleshooting, testing, enhancements, and ongoing optimization
• Provide production support throughout payroll processing cycles and resolve system issues impacting timely and accurate payroll
• Troubleshoot payroll flows, integrations, interfaces, extracts, configuration, and data-related issues
• Partner with Payroll, HR, Finance, technical teams, and external vendors to resolve complex system issues
• Maintain payroll system configurations and controls to support accurate and compliant processing
• Monitor and support integrations between Oracle HCM and external payroll, vendor, and financial systems
• Perform diagnostic testing and support application upgrades, enhancements, and releases
• Implement workflow improvements, automation, and system configurations to increase operational efficiency
• Support recurring and year-end payroll activities, including reconciliation, reporting validation, and system readiness
• Develop and maintain procedures, system documentation, and user training materials
• Provide guidance on Oracle HCM capabilities, configuration options, risks, and process improvements
• Participate in critical payroll support and issue-resolution activities as needed
