Job summary

Apptad Inc. is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator with deep Oracle GoldenGate expertise to support mission-critical enterprise applications.

The role requires onsite work in the USA and 8–15 years of relevant experience across large-scale databases and replication technologies. The candidate will administer Oracle databases (12c/19c+), manage RAC/Data Guard/Exadata environments, and lead GoldenGate replication architectures and disaster recovery exercises.

Qualifications

• 8-15 years of hands-on Oracle Database administration in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Experience with Oracle GoldenGate replication architectures and real-time data replication.
• Proficient with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, Exadata, and RMAN backup/recovery.
• Familiarity with cloud and hybrid setups including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor and maintain Oracle Database environments 12c/19c and above across Production, DR, UAT, and Development.
• Manage RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and Exadata platforms; implement capacity planning and health assessments.
• Design and support GoldenGate replication, monitor latency, and ensure data consistency with zero-downtime migration plans.
• Lead disaster recovery exercises, backups, and performance tuning using OEM and AWR/ASH reports.
