Job summary

SVATS Inc. is seeking a Senior Oracle DBA with strong hands-on Oracle GoldenGate experience to support high-volume, mission-critical database environments in Columbus, OH. The role requires 8+ years of Oracle DBA experience and deep knowledge of GoldenGate for replication and CDC.

Ideal candidates will have expertise in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN and performance tuning, along with Linux/Unix scripting. Banking/financial services background and cloud database exposure are a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Oracle DBA experience required.
• Strong hands-on Oracle GoldenGate administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with GoldenGate Extract, Pump, Replicat, Trail files, CDC and Integrated Extract/Replicat.
• Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM and RMAN.
• Database installation, upgrades, patching, backup/recovery and migrations.
• Strong Oracle performance tuning, AWR/ASH, SQL/PLSQL and query optimization.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-volume, mission-critical database support.
• Troubleshoot GoldenGate lag, ABENDs and replication issues.
• Implement high availability, disaster recovery and zero/minimal-downtime migrations.
• Perform root-cause analysis and production support tasks.
• Leverage Linux/Unix scripting to automate DB operations.
