Job summary

Significance Inc. seeks a Senior Database Administrator to support a federal program on Oracle E-Business Suite.

This primarily remote role includes occasional on-site support at the Department of Labor in Washington, DC. You will own the Oracle database tier across all NCFMS environments, keeping systems healthy, fast, secure, and recoverable while acting as escalation point for critical production issues.

Qualifications

• Nine years of progressive database administration experience, including six years with Oracle E-Business Suite in production.
• Experience with Oracle RDBMS installation, configuration, hardening, and data integrity.
• Capability to monitor performance, plan capacity, and ensure uptime.

Responsibilities

• Sustain health, performance, security, and recoverability of NCFMS databases day to day across environments.
• Resolve escalated production database issues within contract SLAs.
• Manage multi-environment lifecycle from development to production under an approved plan.
