Job summary

SMX is seeking an accomplished Senior Business Analyst to collect, document, and analyze requirements and configure Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) solutions. The role requires an active clearance and is remote with some travel.

Responsibilities include requirements gathering, design and implementation of Oracle EBS configurations, testing, and providing functional support across finance and procurement modules.

Qualifications

• Active clearance or public trust based on sponsor.
• Commercial treasury and cash management implementation experience.
• Deep understanding of accounting and LOA configuration.
• Application enablement skills.
• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and its modules (Finance, Procurement).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Experience with requirements gathering, testing, and solution design.
• Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience; postgraduate study may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Requirements analysis: gather and document requirements for new features in Oracle EBS.
• Solution design: translate business needs into functional specs and design solutions.
• Configuration and implementation: set up Oracle EBS modules to meet requirements; support projects to production; create test plans and perform testing.
• Functional support: provide ongoing end-user support, troubleshoot issues, coordinate resolutions.
• Collaboration: bridge between business units and technical teams for successful integration.
• Process improvement: analyze processes and identify improvements using Oracle EBS.
• Documentation and training: develop system and user docs and deliver training.
