Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) seeks a Senior Oracle Database Administrator to join the Global Database team. You will manage Oracle Server environments, ensure performance, reliability, and security, and collaborate with IT governance teams.

This role involves on-call rotations and occasional after-hours support to back global operations, with flexibility for remote work from home or major KBR office locations, preferably near Houston, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of hands-on database administration experience.
• Experience with ORACLE RAC/ASM, RDBMS 12c/18c/19c, DATAGUARD, RMAN on Linux/Windows.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimize Oracle server environments across on-prem and cloud to ensure stability and performance.
• Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Oracle server instances per enterprise standards.
• Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
