Job summary

MajorKey Technologies is seeking an experienced Lead Database Administrator to support a federal government customer in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The role focuses on senior-level administration, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise relational databases across on-premises and cloud environments.

The successful candidate will lead database projects, coordinate with the Program Manager, and mentor the three-person DBA team while ensuring high availability and security.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years relational DB management experience.
• Strong Oracle database administration expertise.
• Experience with backup/recovery, patching, tuning.
• Ability to lead DB projects and work onsite.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Oracle and other DB platforms.
• Perform backup, recovery, patching, tuning, and maintenance.
• Provide Tier II/III support for DB incidents.
• Coordinate DB operations with IT teams and PM.
• Develop DR plans and documentation.
