MajorKey Technologies is seeking an experienced Lead Database Administrator to support a federal government customer in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The role focuses on senior-level Oracle database administration, performance optimization, and reliable operation of on-premises and cloud-hosted systems.

As part of a three-person DBA team, you will coordinate with the Program Manager, lead priority setting, and drive projects while delivering robust backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum six (6) years of relational database management experience.
• Hands-on Oracle database administration experience.
• Experience with backup/recovery, patching, and performance tuning.
• Experience providing Tier II/III technical support in production IT environments.
• Ability to develop disaster recovery plans and technical project documentation.

Responsabilités

• Administer, maintain, and optimize Oracle databases and other relational platforms.
• Perform backups, recovery, patches, and performance tuning.
• Provide Tier II/III support for database incidents and issues.
• Coordinate database operations with system administrators and network engineers.
• Lead database-related projects and communicate status to program leadership.
