Job summary

Verra Mobility Corporation is seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator in Mesa, Arizona. This role focuses on maintaining and optimizing databases critical to corporate and municipal clients. An ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in Oracle database administration and 3 years on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, along with strong skills in SQL, performance tuning, and scripting. The position offers a hybrid working model, requiring three days in the office and two days remote, providing flexibility within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Oracle database administration experience, with a focus on both on-prem SQL Server and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• 3+ years of Oracle cloud Infrastructure (OCI) experience.
• Ability to learn new technologies/applications with minimal direction.
• Proven analytical/problem solving skills irrespective of database technology.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement database architecture on Exadata systems and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Manage Oracle resources on Exadata systems, Autonomous Transaction Processing, and OCI Goldengate.
• Optimize performance through SQL tuning and execution plan analysis.
• Automate recurring tasks through scripting languages such as Python and Shell.
