Job summary

A technology company in Downey, CA, is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Database Administrator to join their DBA team. You will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of a large-scale database environment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Candidates should have extensive experience in Oracle RDBMS, RMAN backups, and Exadata troubleshooting. This role requires a hybrid work setup, with some in-office presence.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience installing, configuring and maintaining EM/GRID Control.
• 10 years experience with Oracle RDBMS.
• 10 years experience performing Backup and Recovery with RMAN.
• 5 years experience utilizing EM/GRID Control to troubleshoot database performance issues.
• 3 years experience with Oracle Exadata.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an active member of the Database Administrator team.
• Implement, operate, and maintain the OCI Hosted Oracle Enterprise Farm.
• Design, plan, and coordinate the database environment.
• Monitor, tune, and troubleshoot the database.
